Zing Pantry Shortcuts (Zing) is the celebration of a Canadian perspective on third-culture cooking. We partner with local Canadian chefs and food creators to develop one-of-a-kind, premium, all-natural and shelf-stable "pantry shortcuts": sauces and seasonings that bring trending, global flavours right to your home kitchen. Whether you’re a professional chef or a novice home cook, anyone can just add Zing for a burst of flavour to any protein, veg, or carb in minutes, minus the hassle.
Our line up features a portfolio of distinct and diverse products including a chili crisp inspired by Toronto’s Indo-Chinese Hakka diaspora, a hot honey featuring Niagara’s best local honey infused with chillies, spices, and aromatics like lime leaf, a plant-based chili miso inspired by Taiwanese Sacha sauce, and seasonings like a Parsi garam masala, Jamaican jerk seasoning, Sichuan Mala seasoning more.
Our products are manufactured by former restaurant chefs in small batches in an SFCR licensed & audited facility in North York, ON. We are 100% minority owned and woman led. Zing’s pantry shortcuts are plant-based (except for our honey) and nut- and gluten-free. We prioritise working with hyper-local suppliers (including our fellow 100KM vendors) to source indigenous ingredients.
