    We are LIVING for blueberry season and there's no better way to enjoy blueberries than in this super easy blueberry crisp recipe featuring our Barrie Hill blueberries, K2 Milling granola oats and AP Flour and Golden Dawn butter.

    When baked, these berries transform into a delicious syrupy filling and the oat topping bakes into a perfectly golden sweet, buttery, crunchy crumble.

    Add a heaping scoop of your favourite ice cream (classic vanilla bean is excellent on this crisp!) and enjoy warm for the ultimate summer treat.

    Method

    Preheat the oven 375°F. 

    Pour your Barrie Hill blueberries into a medium sized bowl and add your sugar and cornstarch and toss to coat.

    In a separate medium-sized bowl, combine your Granola oats, AP flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add in your cubed butter and using a fork, cut it in to combine until the mixture is crumbly.

    Blueberry Crisp

    Evenly top with the oat mixture. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until the berries are thick and bubbly and the oats are golden and crunchy. Serve warm or at room temperature.
