Alliston Creamery uses conventional practices and local ingredients
Alliston Creamery is one of the last remaining independent dairies in Canada! They are family owned and have been in operation since 1968. The creamery itself was constructed in 1909. Alliston remains quite small-scale, processing only 15,000lbs of butter daily. Their signature butters include Golden Dawn salted and unsalted. They have also partnered with Sheldon Creek to process their line of ghee and flavoured butter products, and Emerald Grasslands to process their line of organic, grass-fed butter.
