    About:

One night at his local pub, Dihan asked the question we’ve all been too shy to ask: What happens to all the grain used to make beer? After learning that most spent grain, especially from smaller breweries, ends up in landfills, The Spent Goods Company was born.

The Spent Goods Company works with organizations to re-imagine food by-products, reducing their expenses and carbon footprint while generating new revenue sources.

Spent Goods developed Beer Bread, a delicious artisan bread products made in Toronto by Drake Commissary with spent grains from Henderson's Brewery.

3 years later, Spent Goods has fed over 44K families, diverted 1.8 tons of equivalent CO2, partnered with 20 different local businesses, and directly contributed to 4.75 Full time equivalent new jobs.

It's great food for thought around the topic of smart reuse and local food supply.

So eat your beer while reducing your climate change footprint!
