A third-generation family farm, Zephyr grows a wide range of great organic produce on 140 acres. Ted took over the farm from his father Chong after his father passed away, and is one of 18 children!
In 1991, Ted got the farm certified organic. Like many organic farmers, soil quality is a top priority for them and they work hard to ensure the crops are grown in the healthiest soil. Ted has been involved in local politics for many years, serving on the Uxbridge city council from 2006-2010.
Nowadays, Ted and Janette’s son Douglas helps to operate the farm alongside his wife Jen, and their two children Tytus and Naomi.
